Trust over inventory
The product should not win by showing the most homes. It should win by showing fewer homes with clearer signals: status, costs, contact path, and review level.
About
Malta Homes is a trust-first property marketplace concept for people who are tired of fake ads, stale listings, unclear costs, and unclear contact routes. The aim is not to become another giant catalogue. The aim is to make each visible listing easier to believe and easier to act on.

Product stance
Fewer listings, more confidence per listing.
The market problem
Listings remain online after they are gone.
The rent looks clear until utilities and fees appear later.
The same home can appear multiple times with different details.
Seekers do not know whether they are talking to an owner, agent, or bad actor.
The product should not win by showing the most homes. It should win by showing fewer homes with clearer signals: status, costs, contact path, and review level.
A stale listing wastes more time than a missing listing. Availability status and last update are treated as core property data, not small print.
Reports are part of the trust layer. If a price, photo, contact route, or availability looks wrong, the public site should make it easy to flag.

Launch focus
The PRD recommends beginning with dense, high-demand areas where the fake-listing and stale-listing pain is most visible. The website should speak directly to that focus instead of pretending to cover every property type on day one.
